She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Steffen and Dorthea Steffen; her husband Delbert Broders; her son John; her siblings, Freddie, Danny, Maggie, Helen, Theresa and Margie; and her grandson-in-law Logan Rau.
She is survived by: her children, Dan (Deb), Bill (Julie), Donna (Jack Froehlich) of Pierce and Laurie (David Stout) of Niobrara, Nebraska; her daughter-in-law Jodi Broders (Thompson) of Yankton; her siblings, Rosie Dreesen of Yankton, Jimmy Steffen (Janice) of Constance and George Steffen of Omaha; and her parents-in-law, George Pitman of Minnesota, Shirley, Ewald Poppe of Crofton, Marv Hegge of Crofton and Sharon Broders of Norfolk. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
