She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Chaney and Edna Chaney; her siblings, Geraldine, Dolly, James and Dale; her parents-in-law, Pansy "Polly" Amerine and Ralph Butler; her sister-in-law Carol Carpenter; and her nieces and nephews, Jeffery, Mike, Mark, Greg, Donna and Robin.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Butler; her daughters, Lori Butler (Kevin Clark) of Raymore and Renae Wedeking (Kyle) of Elma, Iowa; her granddaughter Tierney Wedeking (Patrick McCart) of Osage Beach, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Preston Wedeking and Logan McCart of Osage Beach, Missouri; her siblings, Earl Chaney (Suzi) of New Mexico and Debbie Hooten (Chaney) of Colorado; and her siblings-in-law, Gayle Chaney of Michigan, Robert Robinson of Colorado and Ellen "Dee" Tolman of Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many, many cherished friends.
Betty Jean (Chaney) Butler entered Heaven's glory on November 7, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease at Good Samaritan Society in Bloomfield.
