It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Persson of Blair, Nebraska, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Ann Persson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Clifford and Ruth Evelyn McBroom (Frost); her husband Donald Persson; her sister Mary Lou Roost; and her brother-in-law Charles Roost (Eugene Runte).
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Persson (Donna) of Kearney, Michael Persson (Diane) of Lincoln and Mark Persson (Gail) of Blair; and her grandchildren, Derek Persson (Austyn), Lauren Miller (Ryan), Jerod Persson (Stacy), Brock Persson (Kalinda), Evan Persson, Stuart Douglas and Marci Woehler (Chris). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, along with extended family.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (2146 Wright St, Blair, NE 68008).
