He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Kahnk and Amanda Kahnk (Kuhr); and his siblings, Mardelle Andersen and Rollie Kahnk. He is survived by: his wife Alice Glass; his sons, George (Diane) of Tecumseh, NE, Jim (Jodi) of Ankeny, IA, Pat (Brenda) of Blair and Mike (JoAnne) of Kennard; his grandchildren, Luke, Tim, Michael, Jesse, Aubrie, Kelsie, Jessica, Andrea, Brandon, Heather and Lyndsay; his great grandchildren, Nora, Rayner, Georgie, Quinn, Sloane, Zoie, Luna, Kai, Holden, Leo, Maddie, Millie, Jonah, Simon, Caleb, Jax, Alice, Milo, Crusoe, William and Lauryn; and his brother Don Kahnk. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Community or Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.
