He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bohuslavsky and Mary Mazanec Bohuslavsky; and his siblings, Delores Bohuslavsky Mares, Richard Bohuslavsky and Gene Bohuslavsky.
He is survived by: his significant other Clara Mae Wehrbein of Blair, NE; his children, David (Ying Chen), Debra (John) and Douglas (Carol); his grandchildren, JC (Elisabeth), David Bohuslavsky of Austin, TX, Jeff Bohuslavsky of Clovis, CA, Arryn Blomstedt (Jake), Helen Bohuslavsky of Brooklyn, NY, Grace Blomstedt of Louisville, KY and Luke Chen of San Diego, CA; his great grandchild Oliver; and his sister Donna Bohuslavsky Griffin of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by numerous friends and family.
In 2014 he was awarded the Good Neighbor Award from the Knights of Ak-Sar-Ben Foundation. Besides sending flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Chatt Center (Tekamah's Senior Center).
