She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Green and Laura Belle Green; and her siblings, Illa Smith, David Greene and Darrell Green.
She is survived by: her husband Don Hatcher; her children, Charles Hatcher (Janet) and Bethany Ellis (Bob); and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Greene and Ceretha Green. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Hospital, in Jan's name, for the purpose of cancer research.
