He was predeceased by: his wife Pam Lutz. He is survived by: his children, Todd (Susan), Heather (Jordan) and Kelsey (Colin); his grandchildren, Holden, Greta, Ford, Eve, Hannah, Renae, Merynn, Piper, Marley and Gwen; and his siblings, John, Mark, Mary and Amy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Nebraska Foundation with a memo GUTSCHOW FAMILY ONCOLOGY COMPASSIONATE CARE AWARDS FUND and mailed to the NU Foundation, P.O. Box 82555, Lincoln, NE 68501-2555.
