It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chad Everett Johnson of Blair, Nebraska, born in Columbus, Nebraska, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harold Johnson, Jr. and Jeanne Kimsey; and his cousin Aric Johnson. He is survived by: his parents, Ken Johnson and Claudia Johnson; his brothers, Corey Johnson (Theresa) and Nick Johnson (Lisa); his nieces and nephews, Tyson, Luella, Kaitlyn, Finnegan and Breccan; his grandmother Marjory Johnson; his pet Max; and his uncle Dennis Johnson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, extended family and countless friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Nebraska Children's Home or the Jeanette Hunt Animal Shelter in Blair.
