He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Booton and Lois Booton (Williamson); his stepfather Darwin Soll; his sisters, Joyce Hutchinson and Janyce Ireland; his sons, Steven and Timothy Booton; and his grandson Berek Solano.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Booton (Gunsolley); his daughter Kathleen of Blair; his daughters-in-law, Melanie Booton and Sue Valker; his sister Barbara Chrisman; his grandchildren, Dreyson Solano (Jillian), Aubryna Booton, Ciaran Overstreet (Adolph), Claire Booton (Barrett Foley) and Parker Booton; and his great grandchildren, Allorah, Roslyn Solano, Malia, Landon Overstreet and Jermal Clark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
