She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion M. Kenfield and Alice M. Kenfield (Braden); her husband Marion Dehning of Big Springs; her daughter Patricia Kay Dehning Johnson; her sister Fern Marie Kenfield; her great grandchild Morgan Rae Dehning; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Dehning, Evelyn Dehning, Corabell Dehning, Katie Kenfield, Eileen Smith, Lavern, Delmar and Mervin Dehning.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Michael M. Dehning (Debra) of Omaha and Mark R. Dehning (Mary Dale Ness) of Brule; her son-in-law Terry Johnson; her grandchildren, Jill Dare (Sam), Jennifer Vacha (Nathan), Jessica Hartman (Chip), Bailey Dehning, Troy Dehning (Russchelle), Christopher Dehning (Traci), Matthew Dehning (Joanne), Andrew Dehning (Megan), Jordan Dehning, Shawn Dehning and Nathan Dehning; her siblings, Gerald Kenfield, Marvin Kenfield (Doris) and Beverly Trautman (Charles); and her brothers-in-law, Lyle Dehning (Beverly) and Orval Dehning (Elda). She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Twyla's memory to the Big Spring Swimming Pool or the Nebraska Heart Association.
