He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Beal and Juanita Beal (Cranmore); his parents-in-law, E. W. and Florence Rush; his sister Marva; and his brothers-in-law, Dwayne Smith, Ivan Palser and Jim Ingram.
He is survived by: his nephew Jeffrey; his wife Barbara of Ogallala; his children, James Beal (Tammy) of Big Springs, John Beal (Jana Lee) of Nebraska City and Rebecca Harpham (Doug) of Kenesaw; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Beal (Chrissy), Jamie VanDerWerff (Mike), Jared Beal (Kortney), Laurette Greenman (Adam), Holly Christensen (Cameron), Miranda Blundell (Jerami), John M. Beal, Amanda Ballou (Luke), Katie Madrigal (Peter) and Cole Harpham; his sister Mary Helen Palser of Grant; and his sister-in-law Sue Ingram of Eufaula, OK. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory for later designation.
