He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert R. Bishop and Willa B. Bishop (Douglas); his former wife Lois Abts; his siblings, Bob (Donna Bishop) and Kathryn (Don Springer); and his brothers-in-law, Alfred Abts, Chris Hartsuiker and Dwight Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Lois and Cori (Terry Sis); his grandchildren, Kelan Sis and Jyll (Travis Hansen); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Lauryn and Colten; his children, Theo, Maggie, Elisabeth, Victoria, Jake, Hannah and Emelyn; his wife Diane Rule (Denver); his sister Esther Hartsuiker; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Baker and Pat Abts. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Del's memory for later designation.
