It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy D Bennett (Bertrand, Nebraska), born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on March 5, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Phillip and Cornelia Maybell Ruth Vaughn (Peterson); her mother-in-law Claude Bennett; and also Marian Bennett (Grafe). She is survived by: her husband Larry Bennett of Bertrand; her children, Craig Bennett (Audrey) of Kearney, Kristi Mattley (Randy) of Papillion, Carrie Sterner (Scott) of Madison and Kelly Bennett of Dallas; her grandchildren, Jonah Bennett, Nolan Bennett, Rachel Mattley, Matthias Mattley, Jared Mattley, Hannah Davis (Sterner), Zachariah Sterner, Elizabeth Sterner, Isaac Sterner and Aaron Sterner; her siblings, Karen Burgeson (John) of Fort Collins, Kathleen Laaker (Leroy) of Arlington and Stan Vaughn (Connie) of Bertrand; and her siblings-in-law, Jeannette Nelson (David) of Bertrand and James Bennett (LaDonna) of Bertrand. She is also survived by her parents; father-in-law.
