It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan L. Lilyhorn (Bertrand, Nebraska), born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on March 13, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Henry and Edith Helena Bunsen (Hock); her former husband Douglas Mac Lilyhorn; her children, Michael, Daniel and Tara; her husband Doug; her daughter Cheryl Junkin; her sister Wilma Hanson (Eugene); and her siblings-in-law, Christine Bunsen, Harlan Lilyhorn, Jr., Jack Lilyhorn (Hazel) and Jay Lilyhorn.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Lundy (Rick) of Bertrand; her son-in-law Neil Junkin of Bertrand; her grandchildren, Jennifer Weikel (Gary), Natalie Hagan (Shawn), Jessica Junkin, Alysia Kuck (Troy), Dekota Lundy, Riquella Lundy and Jimmy Lundy (Heather); her great grandchildren, Josh, Tyler, Jacob, Dajen, Micah, Kayten, Brandon Jr., Eli, Keelie, Akeil, Kenna, Kapone, Anika, Avary, Caleb, Alyeana and Annabella; her brother Dale Bunsen (Inez Petrie) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Louise Lilyhorn of Holdrege and Joy Lilyhorn of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Joan's honor, and kindly suggested to the Hope Lutheran Church.
