We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 79, Jeannette S. Nelson of Bertrand, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Bennett and Marian Bennett (Grafe); her parents-in-law, Holland and Evelyn Nelson; and her sister-in-law Joy Bennett.
She is survived by: her husband David M. Nelson; her sons, Curt Nelson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jeremy Nelson (Karen) of Bertrand and Kevin Nelson (Chad Svagera) of Omaha; her grandchildren, August, Ivy, Sadie, Raina and Jenna Nelson; her brothers, Larry Bennett of Bertrand and James Bennett (LaDonna) of Bertrand; her brother-in-law Daniel Nelson of Bertrand; her aunts, Dorothy Marshall of San Antonio and Virginia Grafe of Bertrand; and also, Luis Vasquez of Blanchard, Diego Vasquez of Omaha and Breanna Vasquez of Lincoln. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeannette's honor may be given to the family for later designation or to a charity of your choice.
