He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Rogene Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Peterson of Bertrand; his children, Loren Peterson (Lisa) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Luann Bowen (Jack) of Elm Creek, Neb and Kyle Peterson (Melanie) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Travis Bowen (Elisa), Shannon Hineline (Curt), Nicholas Bowen (Michaela), Chelsea Sullivan (Jon), Jocelyn Blythe (Lance), Graig Peterson, Kirsten Roush, Shawni McHugh (Connor), Carissa Archibong (Sean), Preston Peterson, Amy Hughes (Jonathan) and Reid Page; and his siblings, Paul Peterson of Bertrand and Sharon Liljehorn (Jim) of Kearney, Neb. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Gary's honor, and kindly suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the Young at Heart Senior Center in Bertrand.
