He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Johnson and Harriet Johnson (Cummings); his wife Esther Jane Putman; his children, Mary Jane Gardine (Mike) of Bertrand, JoAnn Gieselman (Grant) of Sioux City, Iowa and Ken Johnson (Pam) of North Platte; his grandchildren, Matthew Gieselman, Jennifer Gieselman, Allie Johnson, Cassie Kreitman, Colby Gardine, Ryan Gardine and Shelby Loeffelholz; and his brother Sam Johnson of Lakewood, Colorado. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; and extended family.
A memorial has been established in Dwight's honor and designated to the Alzheimer's Association.
