She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Keyser and Helen Keyser (Walton); her spouse Claude "Dean" Barber; her son Ricky Alexander; her stepdaughter Jennie Barber; her son-in-law Mike Bernstrauch; her granddaughter-in-law Keri Bernstrauch; her siblings, Linda Keyser, Betty Morris, Jimmy Keyser and Jerry Keyser; her brothers-in-law, Wayne Hansen and Wiley Wagner; and her nephews, Scott Keyser, Jeff Bradley and Jerry Donaly.
She is survived by: her children, David Alexander (Sherry), Vicki Bernstrauch of Holdrege and Rhonda Heasty (Philip Covey) of Wichita; her stepdaughters, Deanna Salas (Ernie) of Derby, Kansas, Angela Winslow (Marty) of Olathe, Kansas and Linda Chambers of Wichita; and her siblings, Mike Keyser of Holdrege, Tom Keyser (Jennifer) of Fairbury, Nebraska, Craig Keyser of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Marjorie Hansen of Staplehurst, Nebraska, JoAnn Wagner of Barnard, Missouri, Patty Sisneros (Rudy) of Frederick, Colorado and Shirley Bradley (Harold) of Holdrege. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949).
