He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hanson and Juliete Hanson (Peterson); his son Jay Hanson; his brother Fred Hanson; and his grandson Thomas Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Tia Hanson of Bertrand, Jesse Hanson of Omaha, Melissa Hanson of Holdrege and Jed Hanson of Lincoln; his granddaughter Vannessa Hanson; his great grandchild Summer Hanson; and his siblings, Julie Reddy (Tom) of Shoreview, Sylvera Holdt (David) of Scottsbluff, Richard Hanson (Nancy) of Arizona and David Hanson (Sandy) of Lincoln. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
