He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Hope Wallander; his brother Delbert Wallander (Virginia); his brother-in-law Roger Peterson; his nephew Kenton Peterson; and his parents-in-law, Melvin and Doris Woollen.
He is survived by: his son Bradley (Mishelle) of Bertrand; his wife Darlene Wallander of Bertrand; his daughter Tonya Johnson (Scott) of Lincoln, Nebraska; his granddaughter Jessica Wallander of Hastings, Nebraska; his children, Mitchell Johnson (Andersen Gillespie) of McCook, Nebraska, Ashley Warren (Seth) of Glenwood, Iowa, Brandon Wallander (Hannah Jasa) of Bertrand and Aidan Johnson of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Levi and Mason Warren; and his siblings, Robert Wallander (Mary) of Loomis, Violet Peterson of Holdrege, Sharon Florom (Rodger) of Conroe, Texas and Carmen Stradal (Franklin) of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Bruce's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
