It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harriette Ruth Peetz (Bennington, Nebraska), who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Penke and Alma Penke (Stender); her husband Donald Peetz; and her sisters, Margaret Paasch and Edna Meyer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Schmidt (Bob), Kathy Sigler (Dick), Barb Kruse (Ron) and Brenda Blacketer (Marvin). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Legion Post #266 or St. John's Lutheran Church.
