We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2023, at the age of 70, Lewis John Kavan of Bennet, Nebraska, born in Valparaiso, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Kavan and Wilma Kavan (Bartunek); his wife Cheryl Ann Kavan; his sister-in-law Lori Kavan; and his nephew Andy Kavan.

He is survived by: his children, Casey Ketterer (Jason), Erin Spiegel, Tara Garza and Neil Kringel; and his siblings, Greg Kavan (Jeanine), Mike Kavan (Mary), Dave Kavan and Kathy Foner (Ken). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
