He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Cheney and Leota Cheney (Ross); his wife Alene Brinkman; his children, Jan Svoboda (Dallas), Curtis Cheney (Veva) and Gwendy Meginnis (Harry, Jr.); his grandchildren, Brian (Amy), Tim Cheney (Lisa), Stacy Ptacnik (Jasin), Kelly Brandes (Jess), Harry III Meginnis (Chelsea), Nick Meginnis and Bret Svoboda (Diane); his great grandchildren, Everlee, Bryer, Piper, Tucker Cheney, Taya, McKenzie Ptacnik, Emma, Trig Brandes, Michael and Katie Svoboda; his great great grandchild Henry Svoboda; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Cheney of Carbondale and Verle Denning of Fremont, NE.
