He is survived by: his wife Kay Boortz Farrell; his children, Catherine Farrell Proctor, William "Wiff" Farrell (Jane) and John "Johnny" Farrell; his grandchildren, Lauren and Meredith Proctor; and his brothers, Michael Farrell (Phyllis) and Terry Farrell.
