He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer James and Amy James. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis James; and his children, Pamela Oholendt (Jack), Richard James (Karen), John James (Becky) and Jani Jennings (Dale). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for the scholarship funds that were established in honor of William and Phyllis James.
