He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph; his sister Margaret Ann; his grandparents, Peter, Mayme Kleine, Joseph and Anna Benak; his mother Margaret; and his siblings, Suzanne Monno (John), Patti Lawrence (Anthony), Teri Goodman (Randy), Cathi Dougherty, Barb Kelley (Jeff), Jenni Owens (Dan), Andrea Evans (Joe), Amy Sheehy (Jim), Christopher Benak (Lori) and Matthew Benak (Nicole). He was also cherished by 37 nieces and nephews, 18 grandnieces and grandnephews, and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Creighton Prep Benak-Brown Scholarship Fund, or to St. Joan of Arc Endowment Fund.
