He was predeceased by: his mothers, Dixie Greenwell and Clarice Arline Greenwell (Davis); his sister Alice Cherry; his brother-in-law James Cherry; his sister Joy Henderson; and his nephews, David Cherry and Lanny Hanson.

He is survived by: his children, Melissa Maun (Chad) of Omaha, NE, Chadrick Shane Greenwell of Oakland, NE and Brentlee Greenwell (Krissy) of Omaha, NE..
