He is survived by: his children, Vynette Hughes (Scott) of Saginaw, Texas and Ross Hayward of Bellevue, Nebraska; his sister Verda Johnson (Lawrence); and his sister-in-law Sharon Hayward. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
