With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodgers W. Bickerstaff of Bellevue, Nebraska, born in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn A. Bickerstaff, Sr. and Gretchen Bickerstaff; his brother Glenn A. Bickerstaff, Jr.; his parents-in-law, John P. and Adelyn Lavenz; and his siblings-in-law, John T., Nicholas Lavenz, Rebecca Lavenz and Mary A. Wirtz.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Kathie); his stepchildren, Angela Larsen of Omaha, NE and Pete Miller of Plattsmouth, NE; his stepgrandsons, Cole Larsen and Jack Larsen; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Lavenz of Loveland, CO, Robert Lavenz of Waterloo, IA and Lawrence Lavenz of Waterloo, IA. He is also survived by several sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Countryside Community Church, West Omaha Rotary Club or the American Heart Association.
