He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Damper and LuVenia Damper; his son Gregory Damper; his wife Lula Mae Damper; his brothers, Walter Damper and Willie Damper; and his granddaughter Chakitha Wrenn.
He is survived by: his children, Jerome Damper, Richard Damper, Cedric Damper, Darrell Damper, Deborah Wrenn and Shameka Damper; his grandchildren, DaWanna Parker (Chris) and Qua'Niquia Damper; and his siblings, Bertha Smith, Freddie Damper, Mary Larkins and Artis Terrell (Leslie). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many loving relatives and friends.
