He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Pruitt and Helen Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Avis; his daughter Rina Louise Pruitt; his stepdaughters, Farrah Briggs, Lindsey Kime (Mike), Kimberly Dawson and Shana Dale; and his siblings, Harold Pruitt of Salem, VA and Irene Ferguson of Roanoke, VA.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
