He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lorence and Gertrude Lorence; his son-in-law David Padilla; his grandchildren, Danny and Julia; his brother Howard Lorence; and his daughter-in-law Teri Lorence.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Navin, James Lorence (Sherry), Daniel Lorence (Darlene), Thomas Lorence (Sylvia), Linda Padilla, Diane Cartwright (Randy), Robert Lorence (Barb) and Steven Lorence (Lori). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
