He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pluta and Julia Pluta (Kosiski); and his siblings, Chet and Dorothy Gawerecki. He is survived by: his wife Anne Pluta (Phillips); his children, Ray Pluta (Kris), Karen Bowman, Bonnie Schneider (Tom) and Kathy Pickens (Tim); and his grandchildren, Christy Dai, Kara Young, John Schneider, Jerry Bowman, Shawni Helms, Micki Derr and Angi Hunt. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
