He is survived by: his wife Diane Milroy; his sons, Dale Milroy, Dennis Milroy (Elaine), Daniel Milroy (Trudy), Doug McClure (Mary Beth) and Troy McClure; his grandchildren, Cassandra Janousek (Drew) and Joey Milroy (Jess); his great grandchildren, Levi, Nash, Emmet and Milo; and his sister Gail Roh.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel (2202 Hancock St, Bellevue, NE 68005). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery.
