“Rae, I was so shocked to get your Christmas card back in the mail today. I am so sad for your children, grandchildren, family and friends. You were always such a great mentor to me. The absolute example of sweetness and grace. You were in the hospital and I was able to visit because Tom listed me as a daughter. The nurse was trying to get blood from you, after several unsuccessful attempts, she was apologizing and you we not upset at all. you said "that is ok honey!" Proof of your goodness.”
