We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2024, at the age of 93, Phillip T. Huning of Bellevue, Nebraska passed away. Though Phillip may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Phillip touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ada. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Kendall (Rodger), Annette Nebbia (Frank) and Jeffrey Huning. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many other loving friends and family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Avery Presbyterian Church (1910 Avery Rd E, Bellevue, NE 68005). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106).
