With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Helen Schmidt of Bellevue, Nebraska, born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2022 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy Helen Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gillum and Joyce Gillum (Eilers); her daughter Tara Lynn Schuler; and her sister Judy Hovland. She is survived by: her significant other Kenneth Schmidt; her sons, William Schuler of Bellevue, NE and Christopher Schuler (Connie) of Fargo, ND; her stepdaughters, Staci Ewing (Douglas) of Durango, CO and Stephanie Fuhrman (Herb) of Terre Haute, IN; her grandchildren, Lilly Schuler, Tucker Dietz, Ryker and Remington Schuler; her stepgrandchildren, Michael, Brandan and Kirsten Furhman; her stepgreat-granddaughter Myra Graham; and her siblings, Laurie Davis of Sioux Falls, SD and Ronnie Gillum (Moira) of Olathe, KS. She is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's name may be made to the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Research Foundation, in order to fund critical and ongoing medical research for this rare and debilitating disease.
