He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Bass and Marilyn Lorraine Heller; his stepson Jeremy Wayne Spring; his sister-in-law Jamie Ohsner; his nephews, Terry Shropshire and Michael Shropshire; and his niece Brittany Shropshire.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Adkins of Bellevue, NE; his stepchildren, Gordon Durand Jr. (Lilly) of Glenwood, IA, Cynthia Beam of Bellevue, NE, Erica Perez Morales (Pedro) of Omaha, NE and Deborah Arzola of Bellevue, NE; and his siblings, Jacqueline Coleman-Bass, Leonard Bass, Carl Ohsner (Tracey) and Donald Ohsner. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
