It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Hakel (Bellevue, Nebraska), who passed away on April 21, 2019, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlotte Hakel and Ralph Hakel; and his siblings, Mark Hakel (Sara), Steve Hakel, Mary Jo Blum (Todd), Annie Stanek (Scott) and Katie Hakel. He was also cherished by fifteen nieces and nephews.
