She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlo Bonjean and Elsa Bonjean; and her siblings, Robert Bonjean and Barbara Hanley. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Lewis; her daughter Michelle L. Lewis; her granddaughter Shannon M. Consolino; her great grandchildren, Ailah Dorner, Eve Dorner and Matilda Consolino; and her brothers, Jerry Bonjean (Kay) and Jack Bonjean (Joyce).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Matthew the Evangelist Catholic Church (12330 S 36th St, Bellevue, NE 68123). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
