She is survived by: her son Mark (Barbie); her husband Max; her children, Mike Harris (Kim) and Machelle Sabin (Jeff); her grandchildren, John (Sarah), Michael, Hannah, Emmalie, Caleb, Kaitlyn Harris, Michaela Anania (Dominic) and Thomas Sabin; her great grandchildren, Lily, Jack Harris and Olivia Anania; her sister Gwen Stithem (Louis); and her sister-in-law Harriett Fenster.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hastings Literacy Program.
