She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Duckwitz and Ethel Duckwitz; her husband Donald John Schlafman; and her siblings, Waldemar Duckwitz, Sylvia Hepner, Phyllis Schultz and Lois Martz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Samantha Alexander and Melinda Cebull (Peter); her friend Lucy Schlafman; her grandchildren, Rachel Cebull and Nicholas Cebull; and her siblings, Fredrick Duckwitz (Donna Mae), Will Duckwitz (Rita), Noel Duckwitz (Cathy), Margaret Mandeville (Walt), Marjorie Kinghorn (Milton), Linda Duckwitz and Donnalee Quarberg (Wayne).
