He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Kristi Filkins (Chris); his grandchildren, Adrianne Haden (Seth), Tyler and Isabel Filkins; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Kali and Jace; his brother Doug Hiljus; his mother-in-law Isabel Haasken; and his sisters-in-law, Wendi (Tom) and Suzanne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
