It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis G. Matyja (Bellevue, Nebraska), who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Violet; and his sisters, Betty and Roseanne. He is survived by: his children, Donald Matyja (Kathy), Mary Jeck (Guy), Louis Matyja, Jr. (Dawn), Frank Matyja (Franni), Phil Matyja and Bill Matyja (Jill); and his sister Clara Owens. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
