He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carson and Dena Carson (Nichols); his wife Anita Carson; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Lila Walker; his grandson Jonathan Sneed; his sister Joyce Smith; and his nephews, Danny and David Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Sneed (Lee) of Wheaton, Sue Carson of Omaha and Jane Wynn (Kevin) of Papillion, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Rotert (Evan), Zachary Wynn (Laura) and Sara Barnes (Sean); his great grandchildren, Madison, Joanna and Lydia; and his friend Linda Strominger.
