She was predeceased by: her parents, Nis Skau and Kathleen Skau; her sister Helena; her children, Vibeke Cordes and Tim Cordes; and her former husband Alfred Cordes.
She is survived by: her children, Marcy Cordes, Paul Cordes (Meg) and Henry Cordes (Susan Stiles); her daughter-in-law Janet Cordes; her grandchildren, Paul, Travis (Jenny), Justin (Becca), Joseph (Kelci), Cory, Thelma and Lucy; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Wyatt and Judd; her sister Kirsten Skau; and her close friend Dick Serpan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
