She was predeceased by: her sons, Michael Shropshire and Terry Shropshire; her granddaughter Brittany Shropshire; her parents, Orvel Adkins and Shirley Adkins; and her brother Orvel Adkins, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Layla Sueann Shropshire; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Terry and Kaitlyn; her great grandchild Alaina; and her sisters, Diane, Myra and Linda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
