He was predeceased by: his parents, John II and Helen Volenec; and his aunt Mary Petrovich. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine and Lisa Volenec; and his siblings, Jim, Bob and Carol Hultquist. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Jack was a friend of Bill W., and memorials may be made to the A.R.C.H. at 604 South 37th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68105.
