She was predeceased by: her husband James E; and her parents, Arthur Scott and Lois Scott. She is survived by: her children, Kristen Boyd, Sullivan (Neil), Curtis Boyd (Louisa) and Victoria Boyd-Kenney (Bradford); her grandchildren, Zachary Coakley-Hellman (Sammie), Caroline Hellman, Nathaniel Boyd and Samuel Boyd; and her sisters, Waneta Jones and Virginia Poindexter (Jimmy). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
In recognition of her service, Former Mayor Rita Sanders, the City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Community Foundation dedicated the Inez Boyd Fountainin her honor in 2017.
