He was predeceased by: his parents, Colby Tarleton and Anna Tarleton (Kuhlmann); his wife Janet Herring; his children, James Tarleton (Audrone) of Tucson, AZ, Mary Slominski (Jerry) of Bellevue, NE. and Terri Storm (Michael) of Bellevue, NE.; his grandson Jeffrey Slominski; and his brother Ralph Tarleton.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kristina, Laura (Steven), Joseph, Anthony (Megan), Brian (Dara), Molly and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Leilani, Raea, Brewer, Haley, Tyler, Porter, Charlotte and Avery.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (Episcopal) (1305 Thomas Dr, Bellevue, NE 68005).
In lieu of flowers, Howard requested that any memorials be sent to the Church of the Holy Spirit in Bellevue, NE.
